Your 30-day free trial will start automatically when launching Join-In or Join-In Pro. Registration is not required for the trial.

If you are using Join-In Pro

After installing Join-In Pro: 

  • Initial Setup: Double-click the Join-In Pro shortcut on your desktop. Follow the instructions on the screen. 
  • Eye Gaze, Touch, Pointer, or Mouse users: click the Join-In Pro shortcut to control the program directly. When using eye gaze, or a pointer, it is recommended to use it in a mode with no clicks. 
  • Switch users: define how you use your switches in the initial setup process, and start using Join-In Pro.

If you want to use Join-In Pro with TD Snap: 

  • Download the TD Snap integration page set by clicking here.
  • For an explanation about this page set and instructions on how to edit it and how to integrate Join-In Pro into the user’s page set, click here

If you want to use Join-In Pro with Grid 3: 

  • From your Grid 3 user, search Online Grids using the search phrase “Join-In Pro”.  You can also run this search by clicking here. Add the grid sets you want to use to your Grid 3 user, and start using Join-In Pro.
  • Text or Symbol communicators who want to send text using the Join-In Pro apps, click here for an explanation about these grid sets and instructions on how to edit them and how to integrate Join-In Pro into the user’s preferred grid set.
  • Symbol communicators who want to send text with symbols using the Join-In Pro apps, click here for an explanation about these grid sets and instructions on how to edit them and how to integrate Join-In Pro into the user’s preferred grid set.

If you want to use Join-In Pro with Communicator 5:

If you are using Join-In for Grid 3

Note: this section refers to Join-In NOT Join-In Pro
After installing Join-In for Grid 3:
  • Your 30-day free trial will start automatically. After the trial is over, you will need to login with your subscription details, or to enter a license key.
  • If you have a license code – search for and open the Join-In license manager on your device, enter the license code, and activate it.
  • If you have a paid subscription, use the grid set Join-In Login, enter the email you’ve subscribed with and the password you’ve received. After that, you can exit the login grid set and start using Join-In.

If you are using Join-In for Communicator 5

Note: this section refers to Join-In NOT Join-In Pro

After installing Join-In for Communicator 5:

  • If this is the first time you are using Join-In on your device, open Communicator 5 and go to Edit home page, Add page sets, Text communication, Add-on products and add the page sets you would like to use. Note – for many of the apps you will find a regular version (e.g. “Accessible Facebook”) and a “Lite” version with similar functionality and larger buttons (e.g. – “Accessible Facebook Lite”).
  • If you have already used Join-In on your device, the new installation will automatically upgrade your page sets. To start using new apps that were added to Join-In, open Communicator 5 ==> go to Edit home page ==> Add page sets ==> Text communication ==> Add-on products and add the new page sets you would like to use.
  • Your 30-day free trial will start automatically. After the trial is over, you will need to login with your subscription details, or to enter a license key.
  • If you have a license code – search for and open the Join-In license manager on your device, enter the license code and activate it.
  • If you have a paid subscription, open any Join-In app. If your trial is over, this will take you automatically to the Join-In Login page. Enter the email you’ve subscribed with, and the password you’ve created. After doing that you can exit the login page set and start using Join-In.
